I Daniel Stark had the great opportunity to study Shorinjin Ryu Saito Ninjitsu Between 1994-1997, after just a few lessons I recognized it to be an advanced art. I started training in the Martial Arts when I was in the 6th grade. I answered the phone one day @ the dojo & an individual was inquiring about the school, I told him we teach many arts, including Shorinjin Ryu Saito Ninjitsu, with excitement in his voice he said that's me. I was so happy to have the opportunity to talk to Grandmaster Mark Kahalepaiwi Saito Sr & had a great conversation. I told the individual that was teaching me this art, who was on the phone, he said tell him I'm not here. I hung up the phone & was puzzled with his behavior & then the red flag went up, the individual teaching me was a renegade & was disbarred by Grandmaster Mark Kahalepaiwi Saito Sr from the school. There are many people claiming to know Shorinjin Ryu Saito Ninjitsu, however after reviewing the first addition of the Black Belt series from Master Maui Saito, I find what I learned to be watered down & not the true art this individual & others try to represent. I called Master Saito & had one statement to make. Your Father would be proud. I urge you all to study Master Maui Saito's Black Belt Dvd as it is by far the most professional & the true way to Mastery of the Martial Arts I have ever seen available to the public in my 25 years of teaching & 32 years of study.

Bloodline Ninjitsu, headed by Grandmaster Maui Saito (Soke), is by far the most advanced, most comprehensive Martial Art that I have ever studied or been exposed to. I have studied many Arts to at the least, the Shodan level to have a solid understanding of any given Art; although, there are many Arts with excellent physical technique (Bujinkan Ninjutsu included), there are no other Arts that incorporate the deep level of spiritual and mental training that is incorporated into Bloodline Ninjitsu. When Master Maui Says that the Art is comprised of 1% Physical and 99% Spiritual/Mental training, that is absolutely the case. You could apply the teachings of Bloodline Ninjitsu and incorporate it into any Art you are currently training in. These teachings go far beyond the Dojo as well. This is training that creates superior mindset and at times crosses over into the realm of the metaphysical; therefore, training that goes far beyond martial combat only!
I trained with the Bujinkan Ninjutsu System, headed by Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi, and found the technique is sound; however, like many other Arts that I trained in, it did not contain the DEEP Spiritual/Mental training that is so critical for Martial Arts Mastery. The manipulation of energy, the application of Spiritual/Mental intent of outcome, illusion, and many high-level Spiritual applications are a few examples of what other Arts lack, however, all of this and more is found in Master Maui Saito's Bloodline Ninjitsu Black Belt Course. When this aspect is incorporated into the physical technique realm, you will truly understand what it means to have incorporated the Body/Mind/Spirit into your training.
I have met and trained with many high-level Martial Artist, however, I would highly doubt if I would ever have the privilege of meeting or training with anyone who is operating at the same level as Grandmaster Maui Saito.

I am so excited about Maui Saito Ninjitsu. Finally I have found the Martial Art I want to learn and devote my time to. To go through the various levels and learn the skills and embark on a voyage of self discovery, is for me a amazing journey I have been waiting to take for a long time. As a beginner, the Black Belt course gives you all the information you need to study, learn and develop yourself as a martial artist and as a human being. The course goes in-depth into the techniques and skills needed to improve as a student. The spiritual training is awesome and is sadly missing from other martial arts. The DVDs are of the highest quality and are full of extensive information-most impressive. Master Maui Saito's teaching is superb. This is the "ONLY" Martial art for me.....Thank you.

I got the first level DVD in the mail some time ago and I'm sorry it took me so long to write a review but I was just so enthralled in the studying of this course. I have looked into a lot of home study courses and been in a few Dojo's myself and I have never found any quiet like this one it is so in depth in every detail and I have learned so much from this DVD set, so much in fact that I will probably not want to study any other Martial Art, this is my dream come true!!!
